About Nexedra

Why this exists

Over the past few years, founders kept reaching out to me with the same question: do you know anyone who invests? Most of them were building real businesses in Nigeria and across Africa. They had customers, traction and a plan. What they didn't have was a way in.

At the same time, I kept meeting people on the other side. Professionals in the US and across the diaspora with $10,000, $50,000, sometimes $100,000 they'd happily put behind a good African business. They just didn't know where to find one they could trust.

Both sides wanted the same thing. Nobody was standing in the middle.

So I started doing it informally. One introduction I made led to a $50,000 investment from an African venture fund, plus banking support to help the company grow. That's when it clicked: this shouldn't depend on who happens to know whom. It should be a proper, trusted process.

Nexedra is that process.

What we do

We find early-stage founders, check them properly, and introduce them to investors who understand the market. We look at the things that actually decide whether an investment is safe: the team, the traction, how the company is set up, and whether the paperwork holds up.

Founders who aren't quite ready get help getting there. Investors get deals that have already been looked at closely by someone who knows what to look for.

What we believe

Trust is the real gap.

There's money looking for good founders and good founders looking for money. What's missing is confidence on both sides.

Small investors deserve a seat too.

Good deals shouldn't only be open to people who can write six-figure cheques.

Do it properly or don't do it.

Clear terms, honest risks, no promises we can't keep.

Ready to get involved?

Whether you're building or backing, we'd like to hear from you.
